I have a 1984 500 SEL European model .. it has load leveling brake system and leaks on drivers side. My question is how difficult is this to repair and where is likely place for leak. Also is there an alternative to the expensive Mercedes fluid for the reservoir?? as it is leaking and a less expensive fluid would be fine while it emptys out every 1000 miles or so. ps . I love my car , this is my second 500!
