Looking for 'what brand of brake parts' information...

I have a 1987 420SEL with approximately 65k miles and would like to replace both the front and rear rotors, along with new pads. I would like them to be similar to OEM and have checked out various websites for cost estimates. What recommendations do you have as to the brand of rotors and pads that I should use? I’d like to be able to order all necessary parts from one site and don’t want any surprises that something doesn’t fit or I need something I wasn’t expecting once I have everything apart… by the way, I'm not changing out the calipers at this time, so I'm concerned about what pads to buy.

Thank you,

I like NAPA for parts. Always good quality and fit.

Thank you,
I had a 1986 560 SEL which I kept for 20 years and know that the local MB dealership sells the routine maintenance items at competitive pricres. Front rotars were CD$120 and the rear ones CD$65 each. These are GM prices. MB keeps its prices down by sourcing these older car parts from South Africa, Italy and India. I cannot tell the difference. The dealership also holds annual older car parts sales. If the price differences with after market parts are not great go for the original.

I haven't checked my local dealer yet, though I can say that I just bought a fuel distributor o-ring, that runs $2.95 on Internet parts stores: I was charged $12.95 from Mercedes...

Textar and Pagid are the original equipment brake pads.

Balo was an original equipment rotor.

I have just done the rotors and pads on my 89 420SEL.

I went after market to reduce the brake dust and improve stopping.

I am using Zimmerman rotors and a Eurotech pad.
Excellent stopping, low to no brake dust and about $350 for 4 rotors and 2 sets of pads delivered.
