1987 300 SDL
Performance a little sluggish

I have noticed that my 300 SDL is not as peppie when going uphills or above 80 MPH. I have done diesel fuel filters change, fuel pump seals and o-rings change, and trany service among other things. The car has no leaks and is not burning any oil. I have driven other 300 SDLs that have a little more punch than mine with double the mileage (mine is only 140,000). I was thinking about checking the electronic turbo control if they have any, waste gate, or hose issues that might explain this hickup. Any ideas where to start?

Check the vacuum system for leaks, and timing chain stretch, and injectin pump timing.
