Driver's seat fix?

I have an opportunity to buy a 1986 420 SEL. I love everything about the car, except the seats. The driver's seat is so soft that I slide around every time I make a turn. The passenger seat is soft as well, but not as bad. Can the driver's seat and the passenger seat be swapped? It looks like they could be - the seat belt receiver woudl just have to be remounted on the other side. Has anyone ever done this? Any other ideas? Thanks.

The armrest is mouned on the seat, so the entire seat could not be swapped. It is possible to buy new springs though.

It wouldn't be an inexpensive fix, but you can have the seat 'rebuilt'. I've seen spring kits and spring boosters on eBay. Plus, you could have the seat horsehair pads replaced at the same time...

Unfortunately, I had the car checked out and it needs lots of work. The seats would be the least of my worries. Thanks for the suggestions though.
