I just got my car back from the body shop for a complete re/paint,and they had to remove the sun roof panel,once it was removed they notice that the felts were worn out.If you open your sun roof,gently rub or pinch the felt and you will notice if it comes apart if thats the case then you should replace them. I'm warning you they are not cheep.$156.00 for the set.
It does not open any faster but I can hear the motor using a bit more power to close.
It makes a very nice finish!
