Brake Pads 1989 300SE
HI, fairly new to the "classic" or "old" Mercedes. I need to replace the rear brake pads on my 1989 300SE sedan. Its 4 door 2wd automatic V6. Any help would be appreciated. Not used to foreign cars specifically German made. I got the wheels off and just couldn't figure out where to start. I know it's a minor repair but I could use a starting point. Thanks!!

1. take wheel off
2. pop pins out of the caliper that go through the back of the pads
3. remove the two bolts that hold caliper on
4. remove caliper and take pads out
5. put caliper back on (without pads) and screw the two bolts back in a little bit..
6. use a pry bar of some sort to press each piston back in (when pressing on one side the other tends to come back out a little so just go from one side to the other and repeat till both are in all the way)
7. take the two caliper bolts off and remove caliper off of rotor
8. install new pads (dont forget your grease)
9. place calipers back on rotor and put bolts back in
10. install your pins
11. make sure everything is tight and pins are in all the way
12. put your tire back on
