knock control system W126 420SE Change?
Hi.
I have an EU Version of the 420SE with knock control system and the ignition computer is damaged.
MB wants nearly 3.000§ and used ones are out of stock, everywhere.
Is there any way to put a normal ignition unit in the car?
I have heard in USA it was normal to change it with a few other plugs.
Any informations, please?

126 420SE; 500SEL
I have the same euro 420SE with a bad ignition control unit (EZL); I'm developing a replacement performance ignition control unit as a kit that would be more durable, better spark and increased performance; would you be interested in buying a kit at $ 400 U.S. dollars?
