Found out how to remove back seat...
Found those little orange latches on the back seat, bam- the whole seat came out- and found some cool stuff when I cleaned under it.
- A Hong Kong 10-cent coin.
- *COOL* The original dealer's key tag from 1989.
- A Fat Lady Bar matchbook from Oakland CA.
- A bike blinker- still worked.
and all the nasties expected under a seat.
But one thing has me stumped- a small rectangular piece of light brown felt, that doesnt seem to come from anywhere around.
It looks like felt or wood-like stuff. Smells like pee, or some weird sandalwood from India, or something weird.
So I've got this in a ziplock bag and I'm wondering: what the heck, who would have a little smelly block, and why would it be here?
Is this some kind or Hong Kong artifact, a good luck totem from Stuttgart, or is it exactly what it apears to be: a stinky block of wood?

I to was lucky enough to find a donor car with a sweeeet blue interior. cant seem to get the backrest portion of my rear seat out..it seems hung up on something near the center. I got the seat out.....felt like it was just stuck. Upgrading to the blue interior from a 87 s420 gotta remember to swap the seat belt lowers!
