What have i done!!!

Just bought an SE at a local auction here in Birmingham UK, Did'nt go with the intention of buying an SE - its just i saw it in the corner of the auction compound looking a lonely and memories of my old 300 se came flooding back, and i thought i've got to have it!
Its a 1990 420SE Business Edition with 128k miles on the clock, i got it for £400!
So its either gonna be the bargain of the century or the worlds biggest money pit! I'll post some pics tomorrow when i pick it up and no doubt ask a whole heap of questions when i find out whats wrong with it
Anyway wish me luck.

Sounds like that Bargain Hunters show on HD Theatre. I actually saw an episode yesterday where they bought a 230E for 400 pounds and put about 1000 pounds into it. They later turned around and sold it for 1500 pounds. The only areas of concern were the steering box and replacing a front fender. The sunroof wasn't functional, but was fixed with a fuse. Lastly, the engine was serviced (timing was slightly off).

The good thing about your purchase is, if you're resourceful and know some good indy mechanics, you should be all right.
