300 SD Shifting strange
I have an 83 300sd that sporadically shifts in a peculiar way. The car drives normally most of the time but occasionally when shifting between 2nd and 3rd it loses power, lags, then it tachs up and finally switches gears.
I'm not certain if its a vacuum assist or the turbo; any ideas?
I also cannot find any correlations between the variables, hot or cold, passing a car, pulling out, etc.

This is my wife's car and she rarely lets me drive it; however I have noticed that it seems to happen after taking a turn (foot off the pedal) and when pulling out. It's like the car can't decide if it should downshift, kick in the turbo, or switch to 3rd.
