Careful with Connolly Hide Care!
Bought a tub of Connolly Hide Care (made in england) for my leather seats it was a mistake! My '89 300 SE has the kind of leather that has the color applied to the surface, unfortunately this stuff took that color right off like paint remover- and it was quick, like a couple seconds.
So be very careful with this if you have leather like mine.
Maybe it is intended for dyed or natural leather, maybe it's the best in the world for that kind?
If your leather has little cracks that are a much lighter color, then you have the same as mine, and I strongly caution against this leather cream.
I spent the next couple hours doing damage control- trying to re-color the stripped spot, with marginal success.
I know this Connolly stuff is supposed to be the best in the world and highly recommended by Mercedes, just not on my kind of leather seats.

thats too bad to hear, unfortunately this is not the first time i heard this. Actually it isn't recommended by mercedes, mainly by english car makes. With older leather it is very easy to chip off the dye, so you have to be very careful. I really only recommend leatherique for older dried out leather, seems to work very well.
