Hello
I own a 260 se 1989 in Norway. It has a leak that apears on the floor behind the passanger side (rigth), the garage, officall Mercedes dealer, have renewed the plastic lining in the backdoors, taken the headlining and sunroof down and controlled it. Non of this helped, there is no leaksigns on the sidepanels or doors/seats/side carped. Its only possible to see the leek a few days after its been raining, or after a few days driving. Anyone that has had this problem ?

What is it leaking?
If it is water, then it is either the drains from the sunroof, or you have a leak into the trunk.
If you look under the car, you will see a piece of hose about 3/4"in diamater on each side of the car. those are sunroof drains. If those are wet and drip for a substantial time after a rain, they may be partially plugged up with debris. You can get a flexible shaft, like a speedometer cable, and snake it up and down the hose slowly and carefully. Caution - if the hose is plugged, and you do unplug it, any water in the hose or sunroff channel will come out of that hose quickly, so stay clear.
If it is not that, then pull out the linning of the trunk. If you see signs of water in your trunk, then your rerar window or trunk seal is leaking.
Or just move somewhere it does not rain!
