W126 euro lights

Just wondering about the vacuum leveler on the Euro headlights -- is this something all Euro headlights have, or only lights fitted to cars for a certain country?

If I buy Euro lights (specifically Bosch) from a U.S. company, brand new, will it have that mechanism in the unit?

I know it's something you have to hook up -- I actually don't want it (more complications) but I want to know how the light units are made.

Pardon if this question has been answered before, I didn't find this specific question in a search.

They will have them. You will still need the switch that goes in the dash and some vaccum line. I hooked mine up but they really are not all that great.
