560 overheating

new to this place but have gotten a lot of help through googling things about the car.

my question is, did most 1991 560 SEL's get extremely hot while driving? because i could cook eggs on my air filter cover 2-3 hours after driving. if they do is there anything i can do to fix it?

I wouldn't worry about it if the temperature guage is working and indicating normal temp. I would make sure the hood pad is intact and in good condition though, as it will protect the paint on the hood.

If you want more cooling, rig a switch to your auxilary fan relay...
