I have had this problem on and off for some time now. The Windows will only work with the front door open, courtesy switch? I have replaced the relays, ignition switch and have checked and rechecked all the fuses. I now have a jumper wire from one of the fuses to fuse #one(windows) and they work with the door closed, but I had to remove one of the wires from the courtesy switch, else it keeps running without the key until you close the door. Any help would be appreciated.
1982 280SE euro with 76,000 miles and have owned the card since 1984.
