Newbie here. I went out to the car this morning and opened the driver side rear door and when I tried to close it, it wouldnt close! I finally was able to "adjust" it with a screwdriver and light tapping of a hammer where what looks like the guide enters the internals of the door. I am not familiar with how these doors work internally. Any help would be appreciated. I assume they should be lubricated regularly. The other door works beautifully. If it helps any, the window motor on this side is not working and I have to use tiny suction cups at the weatherstripping to prevent it from sliding down! Funny right. Perhaps the motor is somehow in the way of the "guide" I mentioned before? Thanks again and what a great site!

 

Figured it out all. Looks like its a bad Door Check. Got one on order and hope to install next week. Until then its reaching from the other side! Ha!
