Dash gauges/lights dead - 1982 380 SEL
I'm trying to fix our 1982 380 SEL.
Foe some time now all of the gauges, speedometer, gas etc have been completely dead, and on rare occasion "twitch" or just jump a little when driving. If I'm remembering correctly the oil pressure gauge goes all the way up when this happens, all others gauges go to 0 or lowest value.
We believe all of the fuses are good.
Any idea where I should start looking for the problem?
Is this something you've seen before?

I had the same issue with my '84 300SD. The fuses were fine but there was just enough corrosion on the fuse connector to prevent a good connection. I pulled the fuses, cleaned the connecting tabs and the problem was gone. Hopefully your problem is just as simple.
