1985 420 SEC - audio and wheels
Hey!
I bet there are people out there who have changed the audio and the wheels of your precious SEC.
I have two questions: Does anyone know what size the original year 1985 speakers on the car are? How easy they are to replace and is it worth it?
Secondly, I'm having trouble because I'd need to find 16" aluminium wheels for just one summer. So I'm not going to just walk into a shop and say I like those.. Anyone out there know what is the offset, or..um.. I'm not sure what they really call it, but the distance of how far out the wheels should come? I've understood that in old mercedes the offset should be quite large because otherwise the wheel will go in too deep..?
Thanks for your help in advance.

ps. Here's a photo of my precious one
