Dear Friends, Do any of you know where I can order an assembled Ignition Wire/Cable for my Mercedes 380 SEL 1983? It has a newer engine, so I may need one that is compatible with a 420 SEL, but I can check that later. Seems silly, I know, but I have been looking for this small item for ages and can only find sets that include all the spark plug cables, etc.. and cost a fortune. I just need the one wire, and tried to repair the one I have with parts I found at the local mercedes dealer. It seems like a simple item, but it has become a real chore searching for the cable. I can ask a mechanic here to make one for me, but I will need to pay a fortune and it is just a small item that might be available somewhere. Thanks in advance. I used to buy these things for around six dollars, now I can't find them anywhere, I must be getting old!
