My Climate Control is Crazy!!
-Greg
On a long drive last week, my A/C kept chilling the windshield, even though I had the controls set for floor.
I ended up putting a Rand McNally map book over the driver's side to keep the condensation to a minimum.
It's generally OK in normal driving. Still cold after a change over from the R12 2 years ago.
There's a diagphram kit that can be purchased. You pull the screws, then the cover and replace the diagphram. This item causes all sorts of falky temp. variations. It can cause heat to go from good to zilch in the winter and intermix warm air from the heater control valve which it's a part of with cooler a/c air.
Lots of talk about this item at mercedesshop.com
