Hi everyone my name is Ben im new to the forums im from sydney australia and this is 1-4 of my beast's i have 2 w126's as yesterday i purchased a 560sel 1987 for its immaculate gearbox but since driving today im already thinking of restoring both lol...

Anyway first of the rank is my 560sec its 1988 model little rough around the edges but im very motivated to restore this if any as it really is beautiful car.... It is a japanese import with 97 thousand k's but unfortunatly has hail damage and has been unregistered for quite some time, Although starts with the look of the key it has the dreaded blue smoke after digging around the forum and a few phone calls looks like she is of to have heads rebuilt and new valve stems timing guides and chain done .....

Next problem resides in gearbox does not shift out of 2nd which is why i purchased the 560sel but thinking of rebuilding 560sec and keeping both

3rd problem is i have a battery drain unsure where from anyone have any idea's ???........

Anyway here she is hope i can get her to the standard so many of you pride your selfs on cheers
