1986 420SEL No Start After Fuel Adjust
I just purchased a 1986 420 SEL so I'm new to the forum.
It was running rough and sluggish so I figured a tune up was in order.
I replaced the plugs, cap, and rotor, but it was still quite sluggish.
When I slightly pushed on the intake plate the rpm increased. Research on this forum told me it was running lean.
I played with the lambda screw a bit but it seemed to have no effect.
I then went to start the car the next day and it won't run.
When I turn the key it fires up immediately but then stops immediately. It runs for about a second or two and that's it. Every time I turn the key it fires right up and then stops. Pressing the gas pedal has no effect.
What did I do wrong?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Fixed!
I think it was something with the alarm system.
Locked the car and then unlocked. Started right up.
Still running rough though.
I will post a new thread regarding that.
