HELP!!! Trottle linkages function/adjustment
Fellow MB enthusiasts, Could any of you help me understand the functioning of the trottle linkages of a '89 420 SEL. I had a rebuild (722....) tranny installed,
now I need to make adjustments so it shifts and kicks down when needed. However I cannot find any guiding in setting up the linkages properly.
I have the tranny pan removed so I can see what the plunger does when the bowden cable moves. I suspect that this movement is not enough, so adjustment in the linkages is needed.
Hope someone responds as I'm dead in the water.
