Mercedes Recommends Lube every 12k km's?
In going through the mercedes supplied record book for a car I'm looking at buying, I noticed that it met all it's scheduled Lube (oil change) services, but they were staggered at 12 thousand km's (7500 miles) I assume they used fully synthetic oil, and I think this car is mostly Highway km's (190000, or 118000 miles) what do you guys think? is this bad? Have you guys ever gone after service histories from MB service departments?
Thanks
Brian

Well, you are talking about a older model, The last W126 was 1991 I think. I have been chaning oil and filters of my cars even when they were new every 3000 miles. They just stamped the book in the back of the service page for me. I don't know if it would make any diffrenent. But I'd sleep better I guess.
