Gas pedal does nothing when making turns from stopped position... Please help.

After getting my 560 SEC up and finally running again for the first time in a year, and replaced all the fluids, checked the levels and made sure there were no leaks below, I took it for a spin. Everything seemed to be ok for the first few minutes. It handled well, started and stopped fine, and had plenty of power. Then came the stop sign. I came to a stop, flipped the blinker and when I went to turn, Nothing. I stepped on the gas, and nothing happened. The engine continued to idle, the lights remained constant, but the peddle did nothing until I turned the wheel strait. the moment the wheel went strait the car took off like a jet. To test the other direction I tried it again, and the same. 45 degree turns appear to make the gas peddle do nothing. Please help with any Ideas. I am weary to drive it again until I can get this problem fixed. It only happened after the first 10 minutes of driving. The car is 5.6 87 560sec v8. I was thinking it may be the master break, but the engine should have revved if that was the case, also thought it could be power steering, but that should have nothing to do with the drive-ability... and its full of fluid. I am stumped. Please help.
