1989 420sel won't start
Hello,
I have a 89 420sel. Distributor cap and rotor changed, but got firing order screwed up. Tried to start and realized something wasn't right. Found cylinder numbers and made sure all wires were on correct numbers according to distributor cap. Still won't start, getting fire, turns over just fine, getting fuel, will attempt to fire one cylinder if let set for a day but then that's it. Not sure what I'm looking for next. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Update...
My wifes benz is running superbly. It was a problem I never expected, and a friend of mine who has built many race car engines came by to help me figure it out. Last year I had a mechanic change and update the timing chain, guides, and rails. He must have got it all back together and when setting the distributor was one tooth off. The spark plug wires were one position off of where they should be per the distributor cap. I will move the distributor where it should be next week, but for now... my wife doesn't want me to touch it. She was without it for a couple of days.
Sure glad my friend came by.
