damaged 420sel
Hi All:
I have a 420 sel in mint condition (120K miles) never had a problem mechanically and body and interior were original and mint with NO scratches. I recently had an accident and do not carry collision insurance because it was too expensive.
I now can either scrap the car (and get $500 for it) or can fix the car (most of the front is damaged - estimate was at $5,000).
Any suggestions on what to do and anyone has idea on how to buy parts independently and may be lower the repair bill?
Thank you for any help or suggestions
Mark

Depends on how much you want to keep the car. The repair you quote is pretty much the value of the car right now. Most would consider it's total. It's up to you. If you want to repair it, check the web for wreck parts and you might find something you need which is not damaged. Good luck.
