A stick was never offered for any V8 model, so a swap would be a one-off deal. Nor have I ever seen a V8 manual trans swap on the aftermarket; I don't think there is a manual that will bolt up to the V8.

Back when the W126 first came out in the , the 380SE(L) was available with a manual in Europe. The 420 was not, however.
