I just fixed a similar problem on a 1989 560 SEC. I replaced the motor mounts, the transmission mounts, and the driveline plastic bushings / mounts. Made the car run like NEW!

My car has an intermittent vibration. Never when cold but sometimes when it's warmed up. Let's say I stop for gas, turn engine off and turn it back on after getting gas. The vibration happens for about 5 seconds unless I blip the gas . I think the problem is not firing on all cylinders immediately. Once I blip the gas the engine steadies and runs on all 8.
