1991 Mercedes Benz 300SE
Accelerator pedal flop
Hi All,
I have a 1991 300SE with a few problems-- but none as irritating as my accelerator pedal that is just sitting on top of the throttle actuator and falls out of place. I have replaced it once, noticing that there was nothing that connected the pedal to the throttle mechanism. I just let it lean against the actuator link and hoped for the best. It has now worn down due to use, and I can't believe I would have to buy a new pedal every few years.
Second item, my blower motor for the climate control does not work any longer, and I'm hoping the fix is as simple as replacing a fuse. I apologize for the length of this post-- thanks in advance for your suggestions!

The throttle paddle is cheap from the dealer, ~$15 if I remember correctly.
As to the blower motor, you might find a fuse in the fuse box, or possibly a strip fuse in a separate little box on the wheel well ahead of the fuse box. There was a retrofit for w126 chassis cars that removed the blower motor circuit from the main fuse box due to high current draw, and put it on the 30 amp fuse outside.
