Seeking advice on an idling problem. Car has 144k miles and idles rough at a stand still cold or hot. Car otherwise drives fine without issue. Mechanic's instinct was fuel distributor but 2 different tries of remove and replace (one used, one professionally rebuilt) did not resolve problem. Now back to original fuel distributor.

Anyone else experience this or have knowledge of usual suspects? Tired of people asking me if it is a diesel Argh!
