Help! Leaky fuel
Hey guys, first off i'll let you know I drive an '84 Mercedes 300SD Turbo Diesel.
this is embarrassing, but I drove off at the station with the pump still in my gas tank. It popped off at the metal coupler so I don't think there is damage at the gas station and no visible damage to my car.... But when I got home I saw a trail of liquid behind where I drove. I got underneath and saw that a rubber hose is the leaky culprit. The only problem is I can't find where the hell this thing would connect.... there is no place where it would reach. I have a picture: http://imgur.com/Q33K5ve
That is the passenger side wheel you are looking at, and the hose goes right up into the body of the car (right where my gas cap/tank is i'm assuming?) it was leaking blue fluid. I'm assuming that's my diesel fuel.
