Live in Chicago, ? About bio-diesel blend.
Here in Chicago diesel is anywhere from a 5% to 20% blend of bio and straight diesel. The new Merc diesels say no more than 5% blend allowed or warranty may not cover any issues. Sludge being the biggie I imagine.
My question is I'm picking up a 300sdl and wondering if the bio diesel blend that seems to be all that's available around here will be a problem. Will I need to find a station that sells straight diesel.......that's tough around here.
