420sel head gasket repair
OK, so my 420 is dropping oil. More than I care for. G&G here in Vegas says my head gaskets are leaking and they need to do a FULL job. Valve job, timing chain and sprocket. $4500, plus they are not sure if that is the problem. Or all of the problem, the car has 149,000ish on it.
I just don't think it should be that much!?!
I mean yeah, the heads are off, might as well do a valve job. Not do sure about then timing chain. And really. Its not running bad, just leaking.
Am I being dumb? Or am I getting ripped off?
They also say my front end needs a total rebuild. $1000 not going to do that. Going to take that to a front end place or just do it myself.
Then they say my cruise control needs a "amplifier". DIMyself
