Peddle stick

My moms gas peddle in here 300SEL sticks soemtimes and will continue to climb when you get off teh gas. Anyone know the remidy for this problem ?

The accelerator cable coule be stuck. Grease the linkages at the accelerator pedal and the throttle body (on the engine).

300SEL
there isn't a cable in the system, only the elbow links. Take the air cleaner out, then you will see the linkage. Have someone actuate the gas pedal for you as you lub the system.
