Original Sticker price
Does anyone know the original sticker price on a 87 300 SDL?
I just bought one and love it, but wish I could see a scan of the orginal sticker.
Mine has 255,000 miles and is still running strong. The only thing I have done to it is upgrade the stereo, which was an aftermarket to begin with.
Any tech tips would be appriciated too!

Diesel purges are important. Over time the fuel delivery and injection systems can get restricted from old fuel, leading to lack of power. Get some Lubro-Moly diesel purge and run it through the injection pump and other components as prescribed by the instructions.
Also, diesel engines are designed to run at high temperatures for long periods of time. It is not advisable to run your engine for a short period of time, then shut it off, such as driving to the mailbox (yes, some people are too lazy to walk). Such operations can cause premature failure of an otherwise solid engine.
