Know anything about a reference resistor?

I'm having problems with the ignition on my 560SEL and looking at the wiring diagram, there is a "reference resistor" which is part of the ignition system.

When I search for the part at online parts stores, there is a reference resistor listed for the body, but nothing for the engine electrical or ignition system.

Is this the same part? If so, where is it located?

Thanks,
Alan
