radio wiring
I am completely restoring my '89 420 SEL. I just got the car back from the body shop and am beginning the work on the interior. Years ago I had an aftermarket radio installed when the Becker stopped working (I didn't know that I could have it rebuilt until later).
So the aftermarket stereo was installed along with new speaker wire and speakers. Now I have the original Becker radio rebuilt and ready to install except that I have no information about how to do it. The fader was bypassed when the new one was put in and I asked the guy at Becker whether they have any details but he said they do not. My best bet would be to find a MB shop with the information on microfiche... I called several dealerships and although the guys were helpful, they did not have anything they could give me.
Does anyone have schematics for this radio wiring or just supply general information on how it should go together?
