REATTACHING 420SEL EMBLEM TO TRUNK??
New Friends,
Someone removed the chrome 420SEL emblem from the trunk lid of my "new to me" 420SEL.
(I found the chrome strip in the trunk.)
As I'm to "de-modernize" the sedan & return it to factory stock, I need to know how to reattach the emblem.
Any ideas on how to accomplish this task??
(I called the local MB dealer & asked this question, was told that they do this work & would do it in their body shop for a minimum of 2 hours labor, which seems a REALLY high price. = > 250.oo.)
yours, tex

Peel the tape from the back of the logo and apply it along the top edge of the blue painters tape line.
Press firmly and remove the blue tape.
Done.
