MB W126 Auto Transmission problem

my 126 300se has a gear shifting issue. When engine cold it takes a few minutes of driving until geeasr shifts to second hear. that is only when releasing the accelarator until car slows down thens shifs. also 2nd to 3rd gear shift is in quick succession sometimes. no burnt smell. Transmission fluid recently changed.

Anything that can be done without replacing gearbox. like additive ??

PLease help

Ruben. The automatics have a shift modulator that operates by vacuum. They go bad. About $60 and install. usually the problem. It's on the side of the transmission.
