Gretsch

(New here)

So I recently bought my first car (300SEL) and its well, old. With this in mind I want to replace/fix many things and one of those is the whole of the cars audio system so new head unit, speakers etc.

I've done some research into replacing and modifying the single din area and removing the ash tray so it could become a double din head unit area, I've seen dozens of pictures of nice looking examples but no write ups of any real kind.

Could anyone pretty please point me in the right direction, cheers
