I had to pull the distributor to replace the 'o' ring and R/R the water pump....anyone know what the initial timing setting is? I noticed a pin about 4mm in diameter and 4-6 mm high right at what looks to be 25 BTDC.
TDC is marked in red
My question is, when I install the distributor, do I use the TDC mark or something else as my point of reference for aligning the rotor with number 1 cylinder.
Also, do we use a timing light on these engines?
