380 sel mercedes benz

left hand hood hinge

1983 Mercedes benz 380 sel replaced broken hood hinge but cant get large spring back on it attaches to bottom of hinge and to bracket in engine bay can some one give me advice

I regret to advise that upon checking the 126.033 door hinge docs in WIS there is no mention of a spring,therefore I can't help you!
