Hi, I just bought a 1986 300sdl about 3 months ago and was given a 1984 500sel yesterday. The desel is what i drive for work and is in great shape having all records since new about 190,000 miles now. I just recieved the 500sel yesterday and just got the key today. I have not yet had a chance to look over the the 500 but it has been sitting for 2 years and im not sure if im going to steal some parts off of it or try to get it running. I have heard that the v8 tend to throw rods and its expensive to fix. ~ Ben
