Looking at purchasing a one owner 1985 500 SEC AMG with 20k miles. The car is now located in the Midwest. Originally purchased in Europe—owner is ready to sell. What defines a real pre-merger AMG vs one with just bolt on AMG panels, rims, etc? The car appears to have all of the correct panels and rims. Also has a fiberglass hood and trunk plus messaging sport seats. The VIN is WDB1260441A153442

hood and boot are aluminum, or should be...if fiberglass...u got issues

real amg?? documentation...no documentation then consider if a after sales build.. please post more pics...

pull off the cam covers and read back of cams, what number do they say?
