MB Parts/Accessories catalogue?
Hello Everyone,
I just bought a 1987 420 SEL and know absolutely nothing about Mercedes. I have only been driving for about five years and in that time I only dealt with C4 Corvettes.
My first question is what is the best catalogue for Mercedes parts? (If there is such a thing) My second question is that I want to replace the old Becker radio that is in there now. Do they make stereos that will go in without a lot of problems and if so where do I look? I know these are dumb questions, but I don’t have a clue. I would appreciate any advice I could get! Thank you for your time.

Any regular stereo will go in there, DIN chassis i think they are called, just as easy as anyother stereo.
Preformance products is kind of like the jcwhitney of mercedes catalogs, other wise there are a bunch of tuners like renntech, amg and brabus. There are supercharger kits and stuff because i've seen 126's with them but never really looked into them so some one else will have to answer that question, basically thou there isn't anything for the benz like the vette. BMW's on the other hand have a huge aftermarket...
Creativity is the key with mercedes, alot of the modifications on these older mercedes were done by hand lol
