380 SEC W126 Engine rebuild, looking for advice.
Hi all,
I'm in Melbourne, Australia, and have a 380SEC W126 I want to start rebuilding the engine on. I've been told it has blown head gaskets, but I figure I may as well give it a complete overhaul. I want it as my daily driver eventually, so it needs to be reliable.
I've never done this sort of thing before, and I figure many of you may have probably rebuilt the same motor, so I thought I'd reach out for advice and help. And to see if there's any common issues I should also address etc.
I'm happy to invest the time. I have a copy of the workshop manuals, so i'll probably use that, and try to figure it out as I go.
