1988 300SEL
Steering column not moving up or down
Hi
i have a 1988 300SEL W126 my steering column does not move up or down , I checked the fuse and is ok,There is no noise at all when I push the switch
Any suggestions ?

Do you have memory seats function?
Cleaning switch on column helps, and if memory seats, removing and cleaning seat switch on the door will also help as it shares same circuit. Hope this helps
