500 SEC crush save Yard Find help
#2
This is a bit of a long story, but I intercepted this car from heading to the scrap yard. After a few months of getting a bank from 1990 to release the car and tracking down a former co-owner, I was able to get it titled. I am not a big Mercedes person, but this was a cool car that I didn't want to see scrapped.
The story is that it ran around 18 years ago and has sat since then.
My plan is to see if it will run, clean it up, and sell it to someone who wants to turn it into something cool.
I am going to drain all the fuel and blow out all the systems, check the injectors and see if it will fire up. Does anyone have any advice or think that is a really bad idea?
