dash lights / switches lights all out
hi,
havea 89 560 SEC and none of the dash or other lights that usually light up the switches, AC panel, etc are working. I have turned the dimer back and forth and it's not making any differece. I've checked all the fuses in the fuse box and they are fine. Any idea???

when mine did that it was the dimmer, the instrameny panal pulls out, its not bolted on, behind that is the dimmer, the speedo may not come off easily but it will, then just clean yhe dimmer or replace it cheaply, either that or its a fuse or gremilins.....

its the dimmer, thats what was wrong with my car. Its the lil thing that u turn to either dim the lights or brithen them, go to a junk yard and steal one hahahaha well you can buy it ....cost me like 25$ at a freaken mb place....i got robbed. Anyways good luck man
